Matthew Hundley (2009)

Matthew Hundley is an award winning writer, video producer and web designer.

Originally from Waterloo, Iowa. He studied Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He went on to earn degress in Broadcast Production and Management and Critical Film Studies from the University of Colorado in Boulder.


In 1993, he worked as a television producer in Marketing & Promotions at KGAN-TV (Guy Gannett) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.


In 1995, Hundley was offered a position in Marketing & Promotions at WDTN-TV (then owned by Hearst-Argyle) in Dayton, Ohio.



AT WDTN he served as a TV producer, worked on community relations projects; and served as the station's "web guru."

While in Dayton, Hundley began to use the Web for his own creative endeavors; he also developed web sites for film festivals, churches and artists.

In 1998, Matthew joined Mathis, Earnest & Vandeventer in Cedar Falls, Iowa as a video producer. While there he oversaw ME&V's award winning Interactive Department. Hundley pushed the Interactive division beyond Web site design and into dynamic Web solutions, CD-ROM production and high-end Flash development.

Hundley taught courses in Marketing and e-Business at Wartburg College from 1999-2006.

In October of 2003, Matthew left his post at ME&V to pursue ventures as JaM
Multimedia full time.

One of the primary projects was the launch of a local culture and arts publication CVEA (Cedar Valley Entertainment Authority). This was both a print and web-based publication.

JaM Multimedia also provided marketing consulting and creative support for corporate, retail, ministry and non-profit clients.

In 2004 Hundley accepted the post as Marketing Director for KWWL Television (owned by Raycom
Media) in Waterloo, Iowa.

He moved to St. Louis in 2006 to pursue full-time studies at Covenant Theological Seminary where he earned his M.A. in Theological Studies in 2008.

Recent projects for JAM Multimedia have included marketing research, development of social media strategies for ministries and businesses, design and layout of magazines, development of editorial content and publishing of eBooks.

JaM Multimedia creates and publishes its own content through several blog channels and sites such as The Kinetic Eye, Global Gospel Sounds, and Film Notes.

Hundley recently stepped back into teaching at Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, MO.
